will-russell Will Russell is a founder and former Managing Director of WINGS. Based in Tucson, Will’s ornithological experience includes several years of teaching at the college level and study on questions of bird identification, distribution, and ecology. Recently “semi-retired,” he spends his time pursuing writing projects, conducting field research, and leading tours, an activity that he thoroughly enjoys.
